Dr.DimitriosTsoukas M.D. M.Sc, is a Sports Orthopaedic Surgeon from Athens Greece, Director of the Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic Mediterraneo Hospital .He is registered in GMC, licensed to practice in Switzerland and worked in Romania and Doha, Qatar. He was the Director of Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic for major private hospitals in Greece for the last 16 years, Founder and Director of Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center ,an ISAKOS and ICRS approved teaching center and he was trained in Birmingham England, in Leuven Belgium with Prof.Bellemans and in UCL-St.Luc Brussels Belgium with Prof.Munting. He has published many scientific papers, he is a regularly invited speaker at sports medicine congresses and instructor at arthroscopic cadaveric courses and he is involved in number of national and international scientific organizations (ESSKA, ISAKOS,ICRS).He is doctor in charge for professional teams in football, basketball, volleyball, handball and been elected as the doctor of the Greek All Star basketball game for 12 consecutive years. He has been awarded for his contribution to Greek athletics .His main interests are arthroscopic surgery ,knee and sports injuries surgery, cartilage injuries, ACI and stem cells, sports injuries prevention.
Dr.Tsoukas is extroverted, team player ,leader ,with high communication ability and high arthroscopic surgicall skills ,really motivated for continuous progress for him and his team.
